Information for family pass holders visiting on Veterans Day

In an effort to reduce wait times for family members, the following gates will be available for use by family pass holders during Veterans Day:

Arlington National Cemetery to participate in ‘Moment of Silence’ during Veterans Day activities

Arlington National Cemetery will be observing a two-minute national moment of silence at 2:11 p.m., Eastern Standard Time, on Veterans Day, which is Saturday, Nov. 11, 2017.

Arlington National Cemetery Road Closures, Sunday, Oct. 8th. Recommend Metro Access.

The Arlington National Cemetery parking garage will be difficult to enter on Sunday, October 8th due to the numerous road closures near the area for the Army Ten Miler road race. You may have to alter Sunday morning driving plans if you plan to travel on some major roads near the Pentagon trying get gain access to Arlington National Cemetery. Tens of thousands of runners will be hitting the streets for the Annual Army Ten-Miler race.

Turf renovations underway at Arlington National Cemetery

For the next several weeks, you will notice signs and work indicating Arlington National Cemetery is in the process of renovating the turf.  Please limit walking in these areas as much as possible, but do not hesitate to visit or place flowers at a gravesite.
