Display of Moses Ezekiel's Sculpture at Arlington National Cemetery 

The U.S. Army has entered an agreement with the Commonwealth of Virginia under which Virginia loans one of Moses Ezekiel's historic sculptures for display at Ezekiel's burial site in Arlington National Cemetery. The Army expects to display the sculpture in 2027 after it has undergone complete refurbishment.

Arlington National Cemetery to participate in ‘Moment of Silence’ during Veterans Day activities

Veterans Day 2008Arlington National Cemetery will be observing a two-minute national moment of silence at 2:11 p.m., Eastern Standard Time, on Veterans Day, which is Saturday, Nov. 11, 2017.

The moment of silence is designed to bring together Americans of all religious, political and ideological affiliations as a powerful symbol of our unity and common purpose, and provide an opportunity to reflect on veterans who have touched our lives.
