Arlington National Cemetery plans to reopen with modified access for visitors and family pass holders beginning Tuesday, Feb. 10. However, please be advised that some sites and sections may remain temporarily inaccessible due to snow and ice. The tram plans to stop at key sites (Memorial Amphitheater, Kennedy gravesites, and Arlington House); however, other stops may be suspended to discourage visitors from walking in hazardous, icy sections. The graveside shuttle will not operate until the icy conditions improve and sections are safer and more accessible for walking.
We encourage visitors to dress for the weather conditions, including wearing sturdy, skid-resistant shoes, and to watch their step to prevent slips, trips, and falls.
Stay tuned for additional details on Monday, Feb. 9, including safety precautions, for this limited reopening. Please visit our website and follow us on social media for updates.
Thank you for your continued patience as we ensure the cemetery is safe for visitors and family pass holders.
