Display of Moses Ezekiel's Sculpture at Arlington National Cemetery 

The U.S. Army has entered an agreement with the Commonwealth of Virginia under which Virginia loans one of Moses Ezekiel's historic sculptures for display at Ezekiel's burial site in Arlington National Cemetery. The Army expects to display the sculpture in 2027 after it has undergone complete refurbishment.

Arlington National Cemetery is dedicated to honoring those who have served our nation. In accordance with current DoD guidance, we have implemented increased security measures to ensure the safety and reverence of this sacred space. We appreciate your patience and cooperation.


Driving Onto Cemetery Grounds 

•  Visitors arriving in vehicles for funerals, ceremonies or to visit gravesites should be aware that all occupants 18 years of age and older may be asked to show photo identification.

•  Funeral attendees entering through Fort Myer should expect delays due to increased security posture. Please plan accordingly to allow for extra time.  


Walking Into the Cemetery 

•  Visitors using the parking facilities or entering on foot will be required to pass through a security screening checkpoint before entering the cemetery. This includes a review of personal belongings.
