Be All You Can Be! Arlington National Cemetery (ANC) invites you to a special walking tour in honor of the United States Army’s 248th Birthday on June 14, 2023. The U.S. Army is the oldest and largest service branch in the U.S. military, tracing its roots back to the Continental Army established in 1775. Throughout its history, the U.S. Army has continually risen to meet the ever-changing needs of an expanding and diverse nation. This tour will focus on the transition of the Army from conscripted service to the rise of the all-volunteer force 50 years ago.
Details
• The tour will begin at 10 a.m. near Memorial Amphitheater and will include a walk through Sections 46, 21, 35, 7A and 7.
