State Champion Trees

Sawtooth Oak

State Champion Sawtooth Oak, Quercus acutissima, is located in Section 12, near gravesite 7429. The tree has a circumference of 156 inches, is 55 feet high and has an average crown spread of 84 feet.

While we are extremely proud of our state champion trees, it’s important to note that Sawtooth Oak is a non-native, invasive tree. We encourage you to enjoy this Arlington Cemetery Champion, but at the same time discourage all from planting it.
