The 64th annual National Veterans Day Observance, to honor the men and women who have served and continue to serve in the U.S. Armed Forces during war and peacetime, is scheduled to for Saturday, Nov. 11 at Arlington National Cemetery.

Arlington National Cemetery will be observing a two-minute national moment of silence at 2:11 p.m., Eastern Standard Time, on Veterans Day, which is Saturday, Nov. 11, 2017.

The Arlington National Cemetery parking garage will be difficult to enter on Sunday, October 8th due to the numerous road closures near the area for the Army Ten Miler road race. You may have to alter Sunday morning driving plans if you plan to travel on some major roads near the Pentagon trying get gain access to Arlington National Cemetery. Tens of thousands of runners will be hitting the streets for the Annual Army Ten-Miler race.
