Arlington National Cemetery continues its free, guided history tours with a Medal of Honor History tour scheduled for Saturday, March 25, beginning at 11 a.m. at the Arlington National Cemetery Welcome Center.
The Federal Rule governing the administration of ANC, to include eligibility, rules of conduct within the cemetery, and other administrative matters, was recently amended. The National Park Service (NPS), George Washington Memorial Parkway will close Arlington Memorial Bridge to vehicular traffic Sunday, March 5 from 6-11 a.m. The closure is in support of the Pacers “St. Pat’s Run” 5K and 10K event.
Arlington National Cemetery continues its free, guided history tours with a Women's History tour scheduled for Sunday, March 5, beginning at 11 a.m. at the Arlington National Cemetery Welcome Center.
The tour commemorates National Women’s History Month with a special lecture and tour of the cemetery. Guest speaker, Army Maj. Gen. (ret) Dee Ann McWilliams, president, Women in Military Service for America Memorial Foundation, will join Arlington National Cemetery Historian Tim Frank as they discuss women who have served across the Armed Services, as well as other notable women who are buried at the cemetery.
