Construction has begun on Columbarium Court 9, which will contain more than 20,000 niche spaces. When completed, it will be the largest at Arlington -- nearly the length of two football fields. This project will extend the life of the cemetery until 2024 -- without it, Arlington National Cemetery would have run out of niche space in fiscal year 2016.
